Hometown/About you:

I grew up in Vacaville, a small town in Northern California (it literally means "Cow Town"). It was a nice place to grow up. I spent most of my time playing sports, at the lake, or riding my bike around town.

BS Degree in English, San Diego State University

What do you love about Recruiting and your work at VIA Technical?

Recruiting is exciting because it truly is what you make it. There will always be ups and downs, which is not for everyone. Recruiting can sometimes feel like one step forward and two steps back. However, with enough passion and drive (and some thick skin), you'd be surprised how far you can go! Eventually, that one step forward increases to 5 steps and then 10 steps...and so on and so on. After 10 years of hard work, it is rewarding to see the consistent growth and long-lasting relationships formed. I am proud at how far I've come, but more excited to see how far I go! The sky's the limit and I am not slowing down.

What are your Passions/Interests?

I am a big foodie who loves to try new cuisine and a nice glass of wine! So, it's a good thing I am passionate about fitness! I workout most days whether that's my local bootcamp, running by the bay, or exploring new hiking spots. I'm also a talented artist, which most people don't know about me.

What is your favorite thing to do or place to go in San Diego?

San Diego has so much to offer! There are so many fun beaches, hiking spots, and restaurants. I love to grab a friend and explore new areas of San Diego. You can also typically find my husband and I at our favorite local brewery, Hopnonomous! Check them out!
